Sterling Silver & Turquoise Repoussé Post Dangle Earrings by Thomas Yazzie (Navajo)
Handcrafted by Navajo Dinéʼ artist Thomas Yazzie, these exceptional post dangle earrings are a masterful combination of three classic Native American silversmithing techniques — stampwork, repoussé, and stone setting — unified into one dramatic, wearable piece.
The round sterling silver post is hand-stamped with a delicate star pattern, centered with a vivid round turquoise cabochon bezel-set in sterling. From the post, a small jump ring suspends a beautifully worked open teardrop/horseshoe-shaped dangle with scalloped, stamped edges that frame the negative space with elegance.
At the base of the dangle, a stunning repoussé cluster anchors the piece — a large oval dome at center, flanked by smaller oval and round domes, all finished with a rich oxidized patina that highlights every curve and contour. The overall effect is bold yet refined, with substantial presence and beautiful movement.
