Sterling Silver and Wild Horse Navajo Necklace by LK

Handcrafted by Navajo artist L.K., this pendant necklace features a striking oval Wild Horse stone set in sterling silver, with silver dot and sawcut etching framing the stone in classic Navajo style.

Wild Horse is a rare semiprecious stone first discovered in the mid-1990s near Globe, Arizona. Known by several names — Crazy Horse Stone and Appaloosa Stone among them — it is characterized by a white magnesite base with distinctive brown matrix.  Wild Horse is its own unique stone and is not turquoise but is prized for both its beauty and its rarity.
