Returns, Exchanges & Information
Returns & Exchanges Policy
All sales on custom leather orders are final — no returns or exchanges. For in-stock inventory items, exchanges may be requested within 30 days of delivery for items of equal or greater value within the same category, with any price difference due at time of exchange. (Example: tack, belts, and purses may not be exchanged for jewelry, and exchanges must remain within the same product category.)
Condition requirements: Items must be returned in original, unworn condition with original receipt/proof of purchase. Rockin' M Leathers reserves the right to refuse exchanges on items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration.
For manufacturer defects on leather items, please see our Leather Craftsmanship Warranty below.
Jewelry — Stone Loss & Defective Settings: Natural stone jewelry is inherently handcrafted and subject to the characteristics of the materials. If a stone loss or setting defect is identified within 14 days of receipt, please contact us immediately with photos — we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a resolution. Rockin' M Leathers is not responsible for stone loss resulting from normal wear, impact, or improper care after delivery.
Shipping Policy
Additional insurance is automatically added on shipments valued over $100. Rockin' M Leathers is not responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping. All shipments include standard carrier insurance (USPS/UPS).
Custom Leather Order Deposit Policy
Our lead time varies. To secure your place on the wait/production list, complete the custom order form on this website. We will confirm receipt via email and contact you when your place on the list is approaching. You must respond within 24 hours or you may be moved to the bottom of the list.
After discussing your design and confirming pricing, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the design process. Failure to pay within 24 hours will forfeit your place on the list. Payment in full is required before production begins.
Authentic Native American Jewelry — Compliance & Disclosure
Rockin' M Leathers is committed to full compliance with the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-644). It is illegal to misrepresent a product as Indian-made when it is not made by an enrolled member or certified Indian artisan of a federally or state-recognized tribe.
All jewelry represented as Authentic Native American on this site has been sourced and described to the best of our knowledge and belief as the work of enrolled or certified Native American artisans. We strive to provide accurate artist attribution, tribal affiliation, and hallmark identification for every piece.
- Stone colors may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, and individual screen settings.
- Navajo Pearls are described as handmade or machine-made where known; the term “style” is used when the exact method is uncertain.
- When a hallmark cannot be definitively attributed, only initials or a description of the mark are listed. When a piece is clearly marked but the artisan is unidentified, we use the term “hallmarked or signed” to confirm authenticity while acknowledging the maker is unknown.
If you have questions about the authenticity or provenance of any piece, please contact us before purchasing.
Leather Care Tips
- Store indoors and out of the weather (barn, tack room, home, etc.).
- Do not leave tack hanging in sun, rain, or snow.
- If leather gets wet or is exposed to prolonged sun, condition or oil immediately — this includes tack used on heavily sweating horses.
- You may oil or condition over painted leather, but be gentle — do not scrub or apply heavy pressure.
- Mold is damaging to leather. If mold appears, oil and condition immediately.
Remember: leather is porous and will absorb anything it contacts. Water is very drying to leather and should be avoided as much as possible.
Leather Craftsmanship Warranty
Rockin' M Leathers provides a 1-year craftsmanship warranty on all leather items, covering repairs for manufacturer defects. The warranty is voided by damage resulting from improper care, horses chewing on product, pulling back, or similar misuse. Because we cannot verify care practices after delivery, Rockin' M Leathers is not liable for damage to horse, rider, or other persons or property due to equipment failure.
We do our best to use the finest materials available and stand behind our work.
